The interior architecture studio Emmme Studio was responsible for all the renovation and decoration of this apartment, located in the center of Madrid. Irene, its owner, wanted a more functional distribution and create stylish environments that reflect her personality. He knew exactly what he wanted and in Emmme Studio they focused on it to achieve the home of their dreams.VERSATILE ENVIRONMENT. Following the creative trend that takes people and nature into account before the space itself, the architects and interior designers Ana, Lara and Nahia - the entire team of Emmme Studio - the first thing they did was to study Irene's tastes and needs to develop a project that fits what she wanted.
First they reorganized the available meters, then they created a Nordic, cozy and natural style and, finally, they focused on the details.
POINT BY POINT
The Emmme Studio team threw some partitions and decided to raise others, to get a much more comfortable house, with open, spacious and open spaces, and some individual corners since Irene dreamed of a house that had spaces to enjoy with friends, but also serene stays where to relax. The next step was to choose the style that would dominate the entire house. The owner is in love with Danish design and the decorators team managed to capture this passion in every place of the house.THE TOUCH CHIC. The bed was animated with a composition of cushions in coordinated tones, of different shapes and sizes. Miriam Yeleq WARM AND SERENO. Following the same aesthetic of the rest of the house, for the decoration of the bedroom we opted for a look Very simple Nordic: walls in soft colors, wooden furniture and natural fabrics. The wallpaper is from the firm Ferm Living and the carpet, by Kenay Home. Miriam Yeleq KEY PIECE Style bedside table vintage, model Jimi, 145 €, for sale at La Redoute Interieurs. Thus, the wooden floor was combined with white walls throughout the house, except in the dining room and in the master bedroom, where different wallpapers were used to delimit and enhance the decoration. As for the furniture, wooden furniture was combined in soft tones with straight line designs and others in delicate curved lines that provide an attractive dynamism. Of course, only those really necessary pieces were placed, to avoid creating recharged rooms, and a color palette was chosen in cold tones with subtle strokes of color that bring freshness and vitality.BALANCE AND WELFARE. The bathroom was covered with subway tiles, in white. The sink area was resolved with a wooden cabinet and a large frameless moon, to gain spaciousness and luminosity. Ceiling lamps were purchased on Etsy. The towels are from El Corte Inglés and the jar is from Habitat. POINT INDUSTRIAL. To illuminate the bathroom, two ceiling lamps with visible light bulbs were installed. Miriam Yeleq FLAT. After the reform, the house has a large common area with integrated living room, dining room and kitchen, and two bedrooms; one of them, the main one, now enjoys natural light. The works were also used to create a dressing room, in the place where there was a third bedroom, and expand the bathroom. Miriam Yeleq
